MISQ and the AIS Doctoral Student College have partnered to provide doctoral students with two great 90-minute mentorship events on April 6th that span all time zones. The title of the event is “The Journey to a Successful Publication: A Reflection on the Revision Process.”
Members of the MISQ editorial teams and author teams from four recent MISQ publications to join us to discuss the details of the papers’ journey through the review process. The tentative event agenda includes:
- Opening remarks
- Panel discussion on the dos and don’ts of an R&R
- Breakout rooms: Paper discussions
- Student Q&A
- Closing remarks
I will be discussing our recent MISQ Paper “The Complex Effects of Cross-Domain Knowledge on IS Development: A Simulation-Based Theory Development” (SE: Andrew Burton-Jones; AE: Ali Tafti; Authors: Gwanhoo Lee, Jungpil Hahn).
