Biography
Muhammad Nauman Shahid is a doctoral student at the National University of Singapore, dedicated to research in information systems with a focus on blockchain technology, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence. His work explores the transformative potential of these emerging technologies on various sectors, particularly finance and governance.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Shahid earned a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University. He also brings six years of professional experience from both the public and private sectors, notably serving as a Young Parliamentary Associate in the National Assembly of Pakistan. In this role, Shahid led policy research on IT reforms aimed at modernising the National Assembly’s technological infrastructure.
Shahid’s research has been published in reputable academic journals such as IEEE Control Systems and presented at major international conferences like the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). He is also an active writer, sharing his insights on technology and related topics through various platforms.
Beyond academia, Shahid is an adventurous spirit, enjoying aviation as a Cessna pilot and exploring new horizons as an avid traveler.
