Nauman Shahid

Muhammad Nauman Shahid is a doctoral student of Information Systems at the NUS School of Computing. Before joining NUS, he earned an MS in Intelligent Systems from Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University and a BS (Hons) in Computer Science from Federal Urdu University of Arts Sciences and Technology. He also earned a Master’s degree in Project Management from Comsats University Islamabad.

Shahid has a wide range of professional knowledge in the corporate world. He served as a Young Parliamentary Associate (YPA) under the Improving Parliamentary Performance in Pakistan (IP3) initiative, co-sponsored by the British Council and the European Union. Prior to that, he held a number of positions in the private and public sectors.

His research interests include blockchain technology, cultural entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence. He has published 11 academic papers in two international journals and six international conferences, co-authored a book chapter (IEEE) and written several freelance articles for traditional media and online editions. He is a travel enthusiast, a culinary genius, an explorer of different cultures and traditions, as well as a private pilot. Guests are always welcome to experience his warmth and friendliness.
